Annual Antigo Christmas Tree Burning Set for Tonight

The Antigo Optimist Club will be holding the annual Antigo Tree Burning gathering tonight, at 5 pm, at the Antigo High School.

For over 30 years, the Antigo Optimist Club has held its annual Christmas tree burning gathering.

It’s an enjoyable way to officially end the holiday season and turn over the new year in Anitgo.

City employees collected trees that residents left on the curbs last week to prepare for tonight’s gathering.

The Optimist Club will also be serving hot chocolate and hot dogs for any resident that wants to witness a favorite pastime of Antigo residents.
