Jane Walters, 86
Jane Walters, of Antigo, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 86 years old. She was born on April 4, 1928 in Antigo, a daughter of Henry and Julia (Macknikowski) Raymark. She married Marvin Walters on August 20, 1949 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2001.
She attended Selenske grade school and graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1945.
Mr. and Mrs. Walters owned and operated a farm in the town of Antigo on Parkway road from 1955 – 1987.
Jane was a member of St.John Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was a group leader of Renew 2000. She was a member and past president of the St. John Rosary Society and was a life member and past president of the St. John Christian Mothers and Altar Society. Mrs. Walters was proud to be a promoter in Association of the Miraculous Medal. She was a supporter and Associate of the Religous Hospitallers of St. Joseph.
She valued time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed sewing, art and gardening.
Survivors include three daughters, Melanie (Bob) Koeppel, Phlox, Julie (Robert) Rindt, Antigo, Elizabeth (Tom) Haworth,, Glendale; four sons, Kevin (Kathleen) Walters, Madison, Brian (Beth) Walters, Appleton, Tim (Lynn) Walters, Waukesha, John Walters and special friend Kimberly of Cottage Grove; nine Grandchildren Tracy Koeppel and friend Scott, Scott (Mia) Koeppel, Karl (Kristin) Koeppel, Shawn (Holly) Koeppel, Madeleine and Emilie Haworth, Nick Walters and fiancee Erica, Jenna and Matt Walters; four great-grandchildren Taylor and Alec Schielke, Kaylin and Korbin Koeppel; one sister, Mary (Wayne) Schroeder, Antigo; a brother, Mark Raymark, West Allis; a half sister, Karen (John) Balyeat, Ironwood, MI.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Lenzner and two brothers, Gordon Raymark and Henry Raymark Jr.
