Dorothy Mae Neigenfind, 85

Dorothy Mae Neigenfind, of Antigo, died Monday Feb. 2, 2015 at Langlade Hospital under the care of the comfort care services of the hospital and her family. She was 85 years old.

She was born April 13, 1929 in the Town of Antigo, daughter of the late William and Verna (Borneman) Lucht. She married Vilas Neigenfind on June 7, 1947 at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 2002.

She attended Selenske School in the Town of Antigo, and Antigo High School. She was a homemaker and nurse’s aide at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation, where she touched many lives.

Mrs. Neigenfind was a lifelong member of Peace Lutheran Church.

She is survived by 2 children, Kathy (George) Chrudimsky of Aniwa, and Jim (Lori) Neigenfind of Bryant; 3 foster children, Jeanie (Cliff) Cleveland of Wausau, Dennis (Kathy) Viergutz of Minocqua, and Norman Viergutz, Jr. of Antigo; 2 sisters, Wilma Meyer of Antigo, and Norma (Don) DeBroux of Grafton; 3 grandsons, Steve (Kathy) Chrudimsky of Antigo, Mark Chrudimsky of Antigo, and Matt Chrudimsky of De Pere; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Neigenfind; a sister, Virginia Summ; and a brother, David Lucht.

A funeral service will take place at noon on Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Karolus officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery.
