Andrew K. Fischer, 19

Andrew K. Fischer, age 19, of Antigo died at his home on Saturday. Andy was born on May 27, 1995 in Antigo to Phillip Fischer of Antigo and Marcy Walton of Polar.
Andy was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 2013. He attended Crestwood Grade School and East Elementary. Following graduation he attended UW Marathon and was currently enrolled online at ITT Technical Institute. He was employed at Sears.
Andy loved to read and was interested in architecture and design. From early on he had a knack for design beginning with elaborate Lego creations. He enjoyed bonfires, concerts, music and traveling. He especially enjoyed his trip to Germany and visiting his aunt and uncles in California and seeing the ocean. He had a gift to make people laugh and was loyal, trusted friend to everyone, including his family.
Survivors include his mother Marcy Walton (Rob Essert), his father Phillip Fischer (Aubrey Schultz), a brother Alex Fischer, maternal grandparents William and Sally Walton of Polar, paternal grandparents Jeff and Sharon Fischer of Antigo, paternal great grandmother Angeline Fischer and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Andy was preceded in death by his sister Emily Essert.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Reverend Nancy Richmond will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Polar.
Andy touched our lives in his own special and unique way. In the midst of our sadness and missing you, the memory of your laugh, your smile, and your love will see us through.
