Lolita “Pat” Amelia Fermanich, 88
Lolita Amelia “Pat” Fermanich, age 88, of Bass Lake, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
Pat was born on August 16, 1926 to the late Uley and Georgia (Childers) McGinnis in Enterprise, OR.
Pat was raised in Enterprise, OR and graduated from Enterprise High School in 1944.
On January 15, 1947 she was united in marriage to John E. “Jack” Fermanich. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2014.
Pat was a member of SS. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, reading and entertaining friends and family. Pat treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jack and Pat lived on Bass Lake and in Winter Haven Florida where they welcomed family and friends to their home in a virtual open house for 60 years.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Kathleen (Fred) Kelm of Antigo, and Marylin (David McElroy) McGinnis Fermanich of Orlando, FL; 3 sons, Jeffrey (Therese) Fermanich of Antigo, Tim (Barb) Fermanich of Antigo, and Paul (Jodie) Fermanich of Bass Lake; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer, Rebecca, Tara, Beau, Timmi, John, Jacob, Caitlin, Chloe, Ellie, and Justin; 10 great-grandchildren, Matt, Scott, Jack, Greta, Lily, William, Benjamin, Izabelle, Emma, Stella, and Tate; 4 sisters-in-law, Marion Fermanich of Antigo, Mae McGinnis of Oregon, Liz McGinnis of Oregon, and Mary McGinnis of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pat was preceded in death by a sister, Marylin Crawford and 3 brothers Gordon, Howard, and Pat McGinnis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Ss. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church. Father Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:30PM on Wednesday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:45 until 10:45AM at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Queen of Peace Mausoleum.
A memorial in Pat’s name will be established for All Saints Catholic School.
