Summer is almost here, and with summer comes Langlade County’s acclaimed Music in the Park. All summer long, free concerts are held at Antigo’s City Park, Elcho’s Jack LaMar Pavilion and the White Lake Depot.

Along with great music is great food. Concert-goers can enjoy everything from pies and Culver’s frozen custard to pizza, sandwiches and the famous Antigo Optimist cheese curds.

The Antigo Jazz Band and Honors Choir will start out Music in the Park Monday, June 1st at City Park, 230 Aurora Street, Antigo at 6:30 p.m., with food and pies available starting at 5:30 p.m. The Elcho High School Band will start the Elcho concert series Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Jack LaMar Pavilion. The first concert at the White Lake Depot is Tuesday, June 16th at 5:30 p.m. featuring music by The Reason Why.

In the event for severe weather conditions, concerts are held at the Antigo High School Commons. For a list of all the Music in the Park events, visit www.langladecounty.org/calendars/events_calendar/
