John Charles Lindner, of Antigo, peacefully went with the angels, June 26, 2015 at the age of 77. He was under the care of Care Partners, and LeRoyer Hospice.

He was born March 29, 1938, son of the late John Lindner and Maxine (Buriss) Lindner.

John served in the US Navy and was proud to have served his country. He owned and operated a professional commercial/residential cleaning service in the Milwaukee area, and after his retirement in 1995 he moved to Antigo.

John enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and spending time on his boat at the Port Washington, WI Marina. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW. John had a love for animals and adored little Petie. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, Evelyn (Schaetz) and Charles (Schaetz). John will be remembered as a devout Christian.

Survivors include his daughters, Debrah Ruth Lindner of Wausau, Lynda Mae Schaetz (Michael) of Grafton; 2 grandchildren, Evelyn Mae and Charles Michael.
