Norma Sarris, 83
Norma Sarris, of Bass Lake, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at home under the loving care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 83 years old. She was born on September 15, 1931 in Antigo, a daughter of Frank and Emma (Feldt) Grant. She married Peter Sarris on January 8, 1955 at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. He survives.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1949.
Norma and Peter raised their family in Michigan for 23 years. The family moved to Green Bay in 1979 and spent their summers at Bass Lake.
Norma was devoted to her husband and four children. She adored her four grandchildren and was blessed to have spent much time with them.
She enjoyed golfing and playing bridge with many of her longtime friends at Bass Lake. She was an artistic and creative woman and avid reader.
Survivors including her husband are two daughters, Robin Sarris and husband Peter Hallop, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Terri Sarris and partner Frank Pahl, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two sons, John Sarris of Madison, Grant Sarris and his wife Adriana of Leawood, Kansas; four grandchildren Olivia, Sofia, Peter, and Emma Sarris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Emily Marjorie Graham, Lorraine Hall, and Rose Eaton; one brother, John Grant.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
