Hidden Bear Trail ATV Club Fundraiser August 15th 11am-6pm Animal’s Bear Trail, 16895 Hwy. 64, Mountain. We’ll start the day with a membership meeting at 11am, then the real fun starts! Meat raffles, gun raffle, food & refreshments. The winner of our big cash raffle will be announced at 6pm. Only 150 tickets to be sold with prize pay-outs of $10,000. First place is $4,000. Monico Fire Department Picnic August 15th Noon-6pm 2333 Forrest St., Monico. Please join them for their annual fundraising picnic. They will have live music, food, beverages, and lots of raffles. All proceeds go to benefit Monico Fire Department to help purchase safety equipment for the department’s members. Raffle tickets are available from any of the Monico Fire Department members. They are also for sale at Monico gas station, May’s bar, Boondocks, Boiling Springs, Reggie’s Roadside, and Gerrit’s Lakeview.

30th Annual Badgerland Classics & Customs Car Show & Swap Meet and 2nd Annual Great Antigo Duck Derby August 16th 8am-4pm Peaceful Valley Park, 420 Field Street, Antigo. The show features classic and custom cars, trucks & motorcycles. There is also a swap meet, craft fair, bake sale & antique tractors on display. For more information, please call Jeff Ralph at 715-623-7351. Also, try your luck at the 2nd Annual Great Antigo Duck Derby. Purchase plastic ducks that are raced approximately 100″ down the creek in heats of 24 to 30 ducks. The first two ducks to finish advance to the championship race. Estimated 18 heats. There will also be a pick-a-duck game and souvenirs for the kids.

 
St. Mary’s of the Lake 18th Annual Parish Picnic August 16th 11am-4pm Lakewood Pavilion, 17258 North Rd., Lakewood. Start your day with our outdoor Polka Mass at 10am in the grounds behind the church, then follow the Marosek Brothers band over to the Lakewood Pavilion for this day of fun! Raffles, games, brats, burgers, nachos, cotton candy, ice cream cones & our famous booyah and French cream puffs! Dance to the music, have a bite to eat & enjoy this great day of family fun.

 
4th Annual Summer Swing Golf Outing August 17th 1-8pm Bass Lake Golf Course, W10650 Bass Lake Rd., Deerbrook. Shot gun start at 1pm. This is a 4 person scramble with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. It is $75 per person or $50 for Bass Lake members. This price includes 18 holes of golfing, cart, dinner, and tip.
