Immunization Clinic August 26th 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Department, 1225 Langlade Road, Antigo. Immunization clinic is available to provide childhood immunizations & adult vaccinations. The vaccinations are FREE to children 2 months – 18 years of age if you have Medical Assistance or no insurance. Adult vaccinations are available some with a minimal fee or FREE if you have MC or MA. Contact the Health Department at 715-627-6250 for more information or to see if you are in need of any vaccinations.
Elcho UCC Men’s Club 4th Annual Pig Roast August 26th 4-7pm Jack Lamar Pavilion, N11283 Dorr St., Elcho. Roast pork with sweet potato or regular fries, corn on the cob, salad bar, dessert and coffee. Benefit Ride August 29th 11am Pour Haus Bar & Grill, 15297 Hwy 32, Lakewood. Motorcycle and car benefit ride, all proceeds go to the Wabeno-Laona School District Athletic Program! $15 per vehicle, $5 per rider excluding driver. Entry fee includes meal, live entertainment & door prizes. There will be raffles for 2 mopeds, 2 flat screen TV’s plus more prizes! We’ll be leaving the Pour Haus Bar & Grill at 11:30 AM, making 3 stops and returning to the Pour Haus. For more information, please call 715-276-6637.

Birnamwood Fire & Ambulance Pulled Pork in the Park August 29th 7pm-Midnight 365 Birch St, Birnamwood. Free beer, soda & pulled pork sandwiches. Cheese curds & other food sold on grounds. Music by Raised Reckless. Tickets $10 in advance, $15 at the gate. Ages 10 & under Free. 4th Annual Puttin’ for Pink Men’s & Women’s 4 Person Golf Scramble Noon September 4th Bass Lake Country Club, W10650 Bass Lake Rd, Deerbrook. 18 holes with shotgun start at noon. Putting contest, silent auction & 50/50, many prize hole chances. Hole in one chances: $10,000 & 2015 Jeep Renegade. Sign-ups will be in groups of 4. $40 member w/cart, $50 members need cart, $60 non-members. All proceeds go to fight cancer in women & domestic violence against women.
