Ryan Gross, of Antigo, died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the age of 25. He was born on April 10, 1990 in Nuremberg, Germany a son of Alan (Audrey) Gross of Sacramento, California and the late Kim (Jacobsen) Schisel.

Ryan attended North Elementary School and graduated high school in Burlington, Iowa. He was employed at Superior Grinding, BB Jack’s and recently was an automotive salesman.

He enjoyed duck and deer hunting, hiking and spending time with his family. He loved his dog, Marley and was looking forward to the birth of his child.

In addition to his father survivors include a brothers, Brandon Gross of Chicago and Caden Schisel of Burlington, IA; close cousins Bobby (Melissa) and Sammy Stimac; grandmother, Bonnie (Ted) Jacobsen of Pearson; grandfather, Dennis (Jean) Van Ooyen of Antigo; step-father, Geno Schisel of Burlington, IA; aunts and uncles, Kelly (Robert Jr.) Stimac of Antigo, Teddy (Kristi) Jacobsen Jr. of Pearson, Jason Van Ooyen and Pam Van Ooyen of Wausau and Kevin (Diane) Gross of Nevada City, CA; his fiancé, Julie Chobanov of Eagle River. Ryan will also be dearly missed by other cousins, the Schisel family and many friends.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by grandparents, Al and Helen Gross, uncle, Scott Van Ooyen and uncle, Brian Gross.

Private services will be held.
