Homecoming events start for area high schools

It’s Homecoming time for Antigo, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, and White Lake High Schools. The Antigo Red Robins will take on the Lakeland Thunderbirds Friday, October 3, while the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers will be taking on the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds. Both games start at 7pm on Friday. The Wolverines will take on the Northern Elite Predators Friday, October 9 at 7pm. Homecoming schedules for each school are listed below.

Antigo High School Homecoming 2015

Schedule of Events

Homecoming week is Sept. 27th – Oct. 2nd.  This year’s activities will revolve around the theme “Returning Home for Victory – Are We There Yet?”  The idea is that we will be going on a road trip throughout the week and returning home to Antigo on Friday.

Sunday, Sept 27

  • STUD Spike – Boys volleyball tournament 3:00-5:30 – Fieldhouse
  • Hall decorating 6-8 pm

Monday, Sept. 28

  • Texas Day (Cowboys, country, etc.)
  • Opening Ceremonies assembly – 9:22 – 9:37 – Fieldhouse

Tuesday, Sept. 29

  • New Orleans Day (Mardi Gras)

Wednesday, Sept. 30

  • Florida Day (Disney, beach, etc.)

Thursday, Oct. 1

  • Class color day

* Frosh – Yellow (caution signs)

* Soph – Orange (construction signs)

* Juniors – Blue (informational signs)

* Seniors – Black (The road)

* Staff – Red and white (stop signs)

  • Powderpuff football 4:00-7:00 – Schofield Stadium, followed by a community pep assembly at the stadium. The championship powderpuff game will be played at 8:00.

Friday, Oct 2

  • Spirit day (maroon and white, homecoming T-shirt)
  • The crowning of the king and queen will take place during the homecoming

assembly, which begins at 2:00 in the fieldhouse.

  • The homecoming parade begins at 4:00 – St. John to West Elem.
  • At 7:00 the Robins take on the Lakeland Thunderbirds.
  • Homecoming Dance – 8:30 – 11:30 PM

* DJ – Ben-Jamin’ DJ Service

All week

  • lunch games
  • Students are encouraged to attend other sporting events

 

 

Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School Homecoming 2015

Schedule of Events

Monday, September 28th

“Country Day” – Wear your country clothing! Country Western, Flannel or Camo – it all works!

Float & Chalk Drawing worktime 3:30-6:30pm

Dodgeball 6:30pm

Bonfire 7:30-9:30pm

Tuesday, September 29th

“America Day” – Class Color Day! Wear at least 50% one color to count!

Freshman: Red

Sophomores: White

Juniors: Blue

Seniors: Red, White & Blue

Staff: Red, White & Blue

Float & Chalk Drawing worktime 3:30-8pm

Wednesday, September 30th

“Local Pride Day” – Wear clothing from a local business (excluding McDonalds & Subway)

Float worktime 3:30-6pm

Thursday, October 1st

“Throwback Thursday” – Take a step back in your past!

Float worktime 3:30-?

Friday, October 2nd

“Green & Gold Day” – Show your Charger Pride, wear your Green & Gold!

Modified Class Schedule

White Lake High School – Wolverine Homecoming 2015

Schedule of Events

All Week

  • The White Lake School will enjoy dress up days all week, which will include a time machine day, royalty day and spirit day.
  • The 7th – 12th grade students will enjoy games/activites at the end of every day.

Friday, Oct 9

  • Pep rally scheduled for Friday at 2:30 pm.
  • At 7:00 pm the Wolverines take on the Northern Elite Predators. There will be a fall co-curricular pot-luck following the game. This will include fall volleyball players, football players, band members and their families.
  • Bonfire Friday after the pot luck.

Saturday, Oct 10

  • Dance followed by the Lock-in. The dance/lock-in is open to 9th-12th grade students.
