A Brush With Kindness is a new program with Habitat for Humanity of Langlade County in partnership with grant help from Thrivent Financials Thrivent Builds Program.

A Brush With Kindness program helps Langlade County residents with maintenance and repair projects versus building a new home.

The program can help with exterior repairs and painting, weatherization, door replacement, window repair, landscaping and yard clean-up, board replacement in porches and stairs, handicap ramp installation, etc.

On September 9, 2015, Langlade County Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial sponsored the first A Brush With Kindness project in Antigo to help a local family improve their housing situation and be comfortable, safe, and secure in their home.

Travis Rose of Thrivent Financial is the Habitat for Humanity Committee Chairperson and Dave Adams is the Construction Project Lead.

Habitat for Humanity will be happy to speak with you about your project and evaluate how they can help you. To find out how you participate in the program or volunteer to help, please call Judy Klyver at (715) 627-7307 or email them at [email protected]
