Walker Jeffery Parizek, was born on June 23, 2015 in Marshfield, the son of Mike and Katie (Schultz) Parizek of Gleason. He received his golden wings on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Although he was with us for such a short time his journey with Trisomy 13 inspired many and he was loved by all. He was a miracle and fought like a warrior.

He loved spending his days looking outside and being held by family and friends. He enjoyed his froggy pacifier while holding the hand of the one who held him and bath time with his big sister, Annabelle.

In addition to his parents survivors include sister, Annabelle Parizek; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Helen Schultz of Antigo; paternal grandparents, Dan and Jean Parizek of Gleason; maternal great-grandmother, Joyce Schultz of Antigo; paternal great-grandfather, Donald King Sr. of Gleason; aunts and uncles, Aubrey and Phillip Fischer of Antigo, Cheyanne Schultz (Jesse Erickson) of Tomahawk and Brian (Brittany Ingram) Parizek of Deerbrook; and cousins, Gabrielle and Alex.

He was preceded in death by his infant sibling, BaileyRay Parizek and cousin, Andy.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman and Deacon Tom Hartman officiating. Burial will take place in Town of Summit Cemetery, Gleason. Visitation will be Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Walker’s name.
