The Pet Parade and Fall Festival took place on October 17th at the Langlade County Fairgrounds Livestock Pavilion. It was sponsored by the Antigo Area Shopper along with Anytime Fitness. Arika Schielke decided to start this event last year to raise money for the Langlade County Humane Society.

“We had about 40-45 individuals participate this year and we gave away lots of goodies and awesome prizes donated by local businesses,” Schielke said. There was a 1 Mile Pet Parade along with a Dog Show/Judging. Other activities at the event included face painting, games, balloon animals, and a silent auction. “We raised close to $1,000 this year.  It was a great event and we look forward to what it will bring in the upcoming years.”
