ACT is bringing the Irving Berlin’s classic “White Christmas” to the small stage.

The show is complete with the memorable tunes that audiences will know from the film, as well as some that may be unfamiliar. The show is family-friendly, packed with fun dances, rousing chorus numbers and a love story that will resonate with the hearts of audiences.

Antigo Community Theatre is a long-lasting tradition in the community, unwittingly started by director Moira Scupien. Her combined knowledge of musical theatre production- and foresight for directing- led her to take the reins of the program. Since then, ACT has put on countless memorable shows for the community.

Scupien advises Antigonians to come out to see the musical – even if one is not an avid theatergoer.

“I’ve heard it from people I know: ‘I didn’t come see it because I didn’t know anybody in it’, to which I said, ‘Well, do you know Tom Cruise?'” she said. “Essentially, what I mean is that at ACT we put on a production you are sure to enjoy, regardless of whether or not you know one of the actors. I have been told by many audience members, after a show, that they were blown away. Some didn’t even know [that was] what they were in for.”

Tickets for the performances are on sale at Neve’s Furniture and at the door.  $10 for adults, $5 for students.

Final performance dates are Performance dates are November 5-7 and 12-14 at 7:30 P.M., with a matinee on Nov. 8 at 1:00 PM.

The show will be performed in the Volm Theater of Antigo High School, 1900 10th Ave.
