Sunday, November 1st

5:08pm- Officers responded to a request for help to find a female’s son, who had sent troubling text messages. Male was later found and transported to Safety Building. Mobil Crisis was sent to Safety Building and talked with male.

1:45pm- Officers responded to an anonymous call from a male at Walmart, who said he took a female to the store and saw her put something under her shirt. The incident was reported to the store. Upon arrival, officers found the female trying to return an item. Asset Protection recognized the female, who had been banned from store for stealing from Antigo & Wausau stores. The female was warned about trespassing and told that she will be arrested if she ever returns to the store.

9:27am- Police received an anonymous call reporting that a friend had posted a goodbye message on Facebook at 5:30am. The female subject was later found, brought to speak with Mobile Crisis, and returned home.

1:42am- Officers arrested a male on 7th Ave. & Morse streets for operating while suspended, operating while intoxicated 3rd offense and bail jumping.

12:16am- Officers responded to an anonymous call of a possible drunk driver sitting in a van between McDonald’s and Kwik Trip. The male subject was found to be very intoxicated, parked in a parking spot with the keys in his pocket. The vehicle was cold and nobody could say how long he had been there. He admitted to driving there at some point. He was arrested on a probation hold and cited for operating after suspension 7th offense.

Saturday, October 31st

2:30pm- Officers responded to a report of a hit and run accident on St. Rd. 64 in the Dollar Tree parking lot. The driver’s side tail lamp was broken, no paint transfer. There were no witnesses.

9:38am- Police received a call from an employee at a credit union on 6th Avenue reporting receiving a counterfeit $10 bill in a deposit from a local restaurant. It is unknown who passed the bill, which was sent to the Secret Service.

Friday, October 30th

10:49am- Police received a request from a business owner on Milton Street for extra patrols behind his building, due to used needles and syringes being dumped behind their building and the path between buildings.

Thursday, October 29th

5:04pm- An officer stopped a vehicle at S. Superior & Hickory streets. Both male occupants will be referred to the district attorney’s office for possession of drug paraphernalia. Items found inside the vehicle were logged into evidence.

4:57pm- An officer stopped a vehicle at S. Superior Street & Forrest Avenue. The driver was arrested for operating without a valid driver’s license 2nd offense.

4:35pm- An officer stopped a vehicle at E. 10th Avenue & Berner Street. The driver was cited for failure to fasten seatbelt and open intoxicants.

1:27pm- A male found a camo vest with some ammo in one pouch in his back yard on Elm Street, which had to have been placed there within the last week. The vest was found to belong to a person who filed an earlier robbery complaint. The vest was logged into evidence.

Wednesday, October 28th

5:11pm- Officers responded to a call of a woman sitting on a roof on Clermont Street. The female indicated she was thinking of harming herself. Mobile Crisis was contacted and later determined the female would be fine. She did have a warrant out for her arrest and was taken into custody on the warrant.

12:17pm- Officers responded to a report of theft of money on 10th Ave. The money was stolen from the Pepsi machine in the teachers’ lounge while the machine was open for refilling between 6:45-7:30am. The surveillance camera was reviewed. Someone took metal canister full of coins. Estimated value of coins would be around $400.

Tuesday, October 27th

8:58pm- An officer stopped a vehicle at 5th Avenue & Superior Street. A male was arrested for operating after revocation and failure to install an ignition interlock device.

1:38am- Officers responded to a report a vehicle with heavy front end damage turning off Lincoln Street. The vehicle was smoking like it was in a recent accident. The driver had hit a deer and driven home. The driver was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant.

1:27am- Officers responded to a report of possible domestic violence on Superior Street, with male and female yelling. The male, who refused to answer the door, will be referred for domestic disorderly conduct. The female stayed elsewhere for the night.

Monday, October 26th

4:22pm- A female came to the police station and reported that a male subject, who has a restraining order against him, had been texting her. Officers will be referring the male subject for bail jumping & a temporary restraining order violation.

9:48am- Officers responded to a report of stolen medication on 6th Avenue. According to the caller, several pills were unaccounted for, no suspects were identified.

7:21am- Officers responded to a report of a hit and run accident on 3rd Avenue. A vehicle was legally parked on 3rd Avenue, when the striking vehicle came off N. Hogan, eastbound onto 3rd Avenue, striking the parked vehicle on driver’s side rear quarter panel, also damage to left taillight. A neighbor stated that they heard a loud noise about 3:30am.
