David Lee Guth, 66
David Lee Guth of Deerbrook passed away at Langlade Hospital in Antigo on Thursday, October 29, 2015. He was 66 years old.
He was born December 7, 1948 in Wisconsin, son of the late Herbert Marvin and Frances Blanche (Pyka) Guth. David attended Elcho School. He married Terri Lee Foreman on April 5, 1980 in Sheboygan.
He was employed by Heuler Tile of Wauwatosa supervising tile installations at malls and airports. He and his family travelled throughout the country for his work. He was recently employed part-time at Walmart, and he enjoyed working there.
He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Enterprise.
David “Papa” loved his dear granddaughters, Arie Morgan and Abree Mason. He babysat them and spent any free minute being around them. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Ivan.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Terri Lee Guth of Deerbrook, include a daughter, Bambi Lee (Justin) Guth-Marvin of Rhinelander; 2 granddaughters, Arie Morgan and Abree Mason; 3 sisters, Josephine Feight of Elcho, Nancy (Ken) Smith of Rhinelander, and Julie Guth of Rhinelander; 3 brothers, Mark Guth of Pelican Lake, Chris (Martha) Guth of Rowlett, TX, and Conrad (Andrea) Guth of Pelican Lake; parents-in-law, Kenneth and Elsie Foreman of Deerbrook; sister-in-law, Georgia (Michael) Bogenschuetz of Sheboygan; brother-in-law Michael Foreman of Deerbrook; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jon Guth.
A memorial service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Enterprise, with Rev. Neil Varnum officiating. Visitation will be 11:00-12:30 Friday at the church. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
