Joyce M. Heise, 87
Joyce M. Heise, of White Lake, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and her family. She was 87 years old. She was born on April 25, 1928 in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late John and Rosetta (Sanft) Liebl. She married Leonard Heise on June 19, 1948 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1986.
Their first home was a tent in Glendale until their house was completed; the couple moved to New Berlin in 1953. In 1968, they moved to Sawyer Lake by Hollister. In 2000, Joyce moved into the Village of White Lake.
Joyce was a homemaker, a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the St. Matthew Ladies Aid and LWML.
She loved swimming and was an avid reader. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and later on just taking care of her plants on her patio, where she also fed and watched the birds.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Mary Lee) Heise, White Lake; granddaughter, Elizabeth Heise, Little Chute; grandsons, Adam Heise, Middleton and Allen Heise, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by two sisters, June Mor and Jackie Kuhagen; a brother, John Liebl and brother-in-law, Bill Kuhagen.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, White Lake with Rev. Nathan Kramer officiating. Burial will take place in Langlade Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the church.
