Antigo Times Staff

The Antigo Area Youth Hockey Association along with the City of Antigo Park & Rec Department are offering open skates this holiday week. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, December 28, 29 and 30, the Langlade County Multi-Purpose Building will be open from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm for all ages to enjoy the ice.

This open skate is open to anyone of any age.  The admission cost is free with a donation of a canned good. You’re encouraged to bring your own skates, but a limited number of skates are available at no cost for those who do not own their own skates or are new to the sport.

Registration is not required for these open skates, and if you can’t make it to the Multi-Purpose Building during the holiday week, another open skate is scheduled for Friday, February 19, 2016 with the same admission cost of one canned good. Times for the February 19th skate are also 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

For more information on open skates, please call the office at 715-623-3633, ext. 154 or 131.
