Candy Hendrickson passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Langlade Hospital under Le Royer Hospice after a 3-1/2 year battle with cancer. She was 65 years old. Candy was born on July 19, 1950 in Sheboygan, WI to Frank and Myra Yinko. She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. On March 23, 1974, she was united in marriage with Bob Hendrickson in Sheboygan. Together they raised their two daughters, Kristin and Jennifer.
Candy held several jobs including working at Lakeland Manufacturing in Sheboygan, operating an H. R. Block Tax Office for many years and finally, together with Bob, owning and operating the Firelite Restaurant/Bar in Pickerel, WI. She was an extremely hard working person with a kind heart.
Candy is survived by her husband, Bob; daughters Kristin Hendrickson of Chicago and Jennifer Hendrickson of Oshkosh; two grandchildren, Kymball and Decorah; her sister, Vickie (Bob) Nickel; nieces/nephews; and sisters/brothers in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Frank and Rick Yinko; mother and father-in-law, Al and Kay Wickstrom; and two brothers in-law, Don Hendrickson and Joe Wickstrom.
Per Candy’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation has taken place. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
