Jeannine Marie Goodwill, Wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and friend to many began her next journey in life on December 31, 2015.

She was born on June 17, 1935 in Milwaukee to Ervin and Evelyn Bermel. She raised her two sons, Steven Warner and William John Sieghold in Menomonee Falls. In 1984 she moved to Bryant with her husband Jerry Goodwill. They later retired and moved to Pearson where they enjoyed their lake home amongst wonderful friends and neighbors.

She was a caring and strong example for her entire family. No matter what life dealt her, she never complained about anything. She was always “fine” to anyone that asked and always more concerned about those around her than herself. Her special Mothering skills spilled over to everyone she knew. Her sons’ friends all called her mom and they all felt like they were part of her family.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Annie) Bermel of Brookfield; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sieghold of Bryant and her favorite niece, Kathy (Larry) Danner of Milwaukee.

She took grand mothering to another level and enjoyed them to her fullest, Ross Sieghold (Latisha Lenzner) of Antigo, Jessica Sieghold of Bryant, Andrea (Adam) Peterschmidt of Germantown and Katheryn Sieghold (Dylan Pielmeier) of Hubertus.

She was also very blessed with five beautiful great grandchildren, Maddy and Deegan Sieghold, Braxton and Cole Peterschmidt and last but not least, Josie Lynn Sieghold.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Evelyn Bermel; sister-in-law, Nancy Bermel; husband, Jerry Goodwill; sons, William John and Steven Warner Sieghold; and daughter-in-law, Lorie Sieghold.

Jeannine had a passion for her furry friends and has left behind her faithful companion, DeeDee and her “grand dogs”, Ozzy, Gracie, Nipper, Jack, Riley, Cooper, Grizz, Misty, Tex and Emmy (yes, her passion for dogs was hereditary.) She was a generous supporter of the Humane Society so we are motivated to ask, in lieu of flowers if you would please make a donation to the Langlade County Humane Society in her honor.

The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Aspirus Langlade Hospital for their tender loving care. Special thanks to her dear friends, Donna Benter and Patrick Tomany, you made it possible for Jeannine to be in the comfort of her home as she approached this next journey.
