Mary Deanna “Dee” Vielbaum, age 74 of Antigo died Sunday January 3, 2016 at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, WI. Dee was born on May 31, 1941 to the late Paul and Mary (Doenges) Rogers in Wauwatosa, WI and grew up in the Hartford, WI area.

On June 6, 1959 she was united in marriage to Richard Vielbaum at St. Killian’s Catholic Church in Hartford, WI. Richard preceded her in death on January 26, 2007.

Dee was employed by the Vulcan Corporation for 25 years.

She enjoyed making crafts and holiday decorating. She loved her grandchildren and had a generous and selfless heart and would do anything for others.

She was a member of Ss. Mary & Hyacinth’s Catholic Church.

Dee is survived by 3 daughters, Sherry (Mike) Lueck of Deerbrook, Mary Hitz of Antigo, Terry Brown of Pleasant Prairie, a son Richard Vielbaum of Antigo, 6 grandchildren, Anthony Lueck, Crystal Lueck, Joseph Hitz, Deanna Brown, Katie Brown, Brayden Vielbaum, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother James Rogers of Beaver, UT.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30PM on Sunday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Reverend Jeremiah Worman will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Queen of Peace Cemetery at later date.
