The Fix Is In’s Spay-ghetti Dinner February 16th 5-8pm Holiday Acres Resort, 4060 S. Shore Dr. , Rhinelander. The Fix Is In, Inc. will be hosting a benefit dinner. The all-you-can-eat buffet will feature spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert and coffee. Other beverages may be purchased at the bar. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. Free Open Skate February 19th 11:30am-1pm Langlade County Fairgrounds – Multi-Purpose Building, 1633 Neva Road, Antigo. The Antigo Area Youth Hockey Association, in collaboration with the City of Antigo Park & Rec Department, offer FREE open skates throughout the year at the Langlade County Multi-Purpose Building. The Open Skates are FREE with the donation of a canned good. There are a limited supply of skates available for use (these are free, but must be returned at the end of the skate). Knights of Columbus Friday Fish Fry February 19th 4-7pm Knights of Columbus Hall, 535 Center Street, Antigo. Bar opens at 3:30 pm. Serving Fried or Baked Cod, Shrimp, or Fish/Shrimp Combo. Antigo Bike & Ski Club Moonlight Ski/Snowshoe Hike February 19th 7-9pm Schmeiser Property, N1818 W Rollwood Road, Antigo. To get to the Schmeiser property, take Hwy 45 South of Antigo. Go one mile south of the four lanes, take a right on Nickel Road. Go straight at the stop sign onto the dead end road. There will be a gathering at the Schmeiser home to follow. Please bring something to share and RSVP to Connie at [email protected] so that Schmeisers know how many to expect.
18th Annual Post Lake Ice Fishing Jamboree February 20th Fishing starts at dawn. Fish registration ends at 4pm. PLIA Community Center, Corner of Hwy. K & Post Lake Dr., Elcho. Fishing held on Upper & Lower Post Lake. Cash prizes are awarded for largest fish to adults. Prizes awarded to children 12 & under. Raffle tickets & bonus raffles. Food, beverages and games.

Merrill Ice Drags February 20th Reg. at 9am, races begin at noon. Council Grounds State Park, N1895 Council Grounds Dr., Merrill. Dragsters, muscle cars & trucks race on an 1/8-mile strip of ice on Lake Alexander. Access to ice is through the Council Grounds State Park. Dates may change, please check website. Youth Tractor & Machinery Safety Certification Course February 20th 9am-3pm Langlade County Resource Center, 837 Clermont St., Antigo. The course includes classroom safety instruction for tractors & farm machinery operation, hazard recognition & correction, general farm safety knowledge, & how to approach farm safety with a positive attitude. In addition, the course is designed for youth ages 14-15 that need the federal certificate of training for employment on farms, youth ages 12-16 who will be operating tractors or self-propelled farm machinery on public roads for their own family, & youth interested in tractor & machinery safety.
