Jerrold P Jepson, 77
Jerrold P. Jepson, Sr.,of Friendship, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at his home. He was 77 years old. He was born on May 28, 1938 in New London, a son of the late George and Violet (Lassiter) Jepson. He married Beverly Wickersheim on May 24, 1969 in Zion, Ill. She survives.
He was a graduate of Westfield High School. Mr. Jepson proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from January 1956 to March 1959 and was stationed at Yucca Flats, Nev.
He was employed at Warwick Electronics in Zion, Ill. and American Motors in Kenosha for 32 years. In 2000, he moved to Friendship.
Mr. Jepson was a member of the Rock River Thresheree in Edgerton.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and John Deere tractors.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: two sons, Jerrold Jepson, Jr. and Jason (Bonnie) Jepson, all of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Austin, Yuba City, Calif., Katlynn and David Jepson both of Manchester, N.H.; four step-grandchildren Jon, Yuba City, Calif., Ben, Brianna and Brooke, all of Kenosha; a brother, Wayne (Karen) Jepson of Sturtevant; two brothers-in-law, Terry (Pam) Wickersheim and William (Linda) Wickersheim, all of Zion, IL.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Jepson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in the spring at the Elton Cemetery.
