Rhonda Sue Carlson, 55

Rhonda S. Carlson, 55, Birnamwood, died on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Autumn Lane CBRF, Birnamwood under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born on November 1, 1960 in Menominee, MI, the daughter of Douglas Carlson, Birnamwood and the late Christine (Jozwiak) Carlson.
She married Chad Walkush on September 3, 1983 in Hatley. The couple later divorced.
Rhonda worked as a rural mail carrier for the Hatley Post Office, provided in home day care, worked for the Hatley Lumber Company and most recently was employed at Wal-Mart until her retirement in 2010. She was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. She enjoyed camping, playing softball for Mark’s Bar and loved family get togethers.
Survivors include two sons, Fletcher (Amanda) Walkush, and Dylan Walkush; daughter, Laci Walkush; one granddaughter, Harper Walkush; one grandson, Harrison Walkush and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Carlson and brother, Rodney “Butch” Carlson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Florian’s Catholic Church, Hatley. Fr. Gregory Bohren will officiate. Interment will be in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9AM until the time of service at the church.
