Immunization Clinic April 27th 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Department, 1225 Langlade Road, Antigo. Immunization clinic is available to provide childhood immunizations & adult vaccinations. The vaccinations are FREE to children 2 months – 18 years of age if you have Medical Assistance or no insurance. Adult vaccinations are available some with a minimal fee or FREE if you have MC or MA. Garden Fresh Salad Bowl April 30th 11am-2pm Holiday Acres Resort, R 4060 S Shore Dr., Rhinelander. The Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, The Northwood Turners (AAW) and Holiday Acres are working together to present the first annual Garden Fresh Salad Bowl Luncheon Buffet. Those attending may choose a hand-turned and finished wooden bowl donated by the Turners. The buffet will feature signature salads from eleven area restaurants, along with rolls, beverages and dessert for $20. Although the wooden bowls will be finished and suitable for salad, plates will be provided for salad selections. Raffles and silent auctions will also take place. 5th Annual Old Fashioned Plow Day May 1st 9:30am-6:30pm Golden Arch Farms, W10353 Cty. I (Angle Road & Highway I), Antigo. This event features working antique tractors, an old machinery display, and a tractor parade at 12:30pm. There will be wagon rides, kid’s activities, raffles, drawings and unique vendors. Springbrook Clean-Up May 2nd 10am-Noon Meet at the 4th Avenue Dam Trail Head (located off of 4th Avenue; behind the County Store and Lakeside Grocery & Pharmacy). Come join your community in an effort to clean-up the area surrounding Springbrook. A FREE lunch will be provided at approximately 12:00pm for all participants. We will provide gloves, trash bags, and a limited supply of trash pickers. Please dress in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Mud boots or waterproof boots are recommended. If you own a boat you may help by picking trash out of the lake basins (the boat may not have an engine which creates a wake). Registration is not required for this event.
