There have been many animals that come and go at the Langlade County Humane Society, but Betty, the 2-year-old cat has been with them since December of 2014.

She was brought in with her brothers and sisters – most have been adopted, but Betty is still awaiting a loving home. Employees at the Humane Society stated that she is a very sweet cat. Although some may find her look to be intimidating, she actually loves to cuddle and loves attention. Deb Wojan, one of the employees at the Humane Society, stated that Betty’s favorite past time is playing with her toys and getting her belly rubbed. It takes Betty some time to warm up to some individuals, but once she does, she is a little love bug. Deb thinks she would probably do better in a quieter home, but that she gets along with most other cats.

If you are interested in visiting Betty stop at the Langlade County Humane Society during business hours or call 715-627-7598 to set up a time to visit.
