Norris M. Ross, Sr., 98, Wittenberg, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born on July 17, 1917 in Algoma, the son of the late Monroe and Olive (Fowles) Ross.
Norris was united in marriage to Wyleta Waite in 1940. She preceded him in death.
Norris was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Norris (Joan) Ross, Jr., Three Lakes and Ronald Ross, Waupaca; four grandchildren and one sister, Marcia Wirkus, Edgar. He is also survived by other relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Visitation will be on Friday from 9am until the time of services at the funeral home.
