Bill Andraschko, of Antigo, died Monday, May 30, 2016 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 74 years old. He was born on March 27, 1942 in Birnamwood, a son of the late William Sr. and Anna (Weber) Andraschko. He married Jean Krause on May 29, 1965 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives.

He graduated from Mattoon High School and the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Mr. Andraschko was an American history teacher having taught for three years in Crandon and 33 years in Birnamwood. He was a life long farmer in town of Rolling.

Bill was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa, having served on the parish council for many years. He was also a member of the Monsignor Conrad Saile Council 1002 Knights of Columbus.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, spoiling his dog, Buster, sitting under the maple tree, listening to polka music, cutting firewood and picking mushrooms. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Jean; six children, Greg Andraschko of Birnamwood; Paula (Jim) Rowe of Mosinee, Stacie (Steve) Marshall of Gleason, David (Joan) Andraschko of Birnamwood, Thomas (Lacie) Andraschko of Birnamwood, Michael (Jessica) Andraschko of Abrams, 12 grandchildren, Kevin Andraschko, Remington and Shaylynn Rowe, Jacob and Whitney Marshall, Collin and Cassie Andraschko, Carter and Allison Andraschko, Callie, Ryan and Joseph Andraschko; two sisters, Carol Wild of Appleton and Roselyn (Ray) Meverden of Birnamwood; three sisters-in-law, Janet Pogrant of Little Chute, Corinne (Don) Metko of Antigo and Judy Krause of Schofield.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Andraschko and brother-in-laws, Allan Wild and Donald Krause.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. A parish wake service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus will recite the Rosary Thursday at 7:45 p.m at the funeral home.
