White Lake Centennial Memorial Day May 30th 8-10am White Lake Beach & Pavilion, Highway M/Lake Street, White Lake. Join us to honor our heroes at the White Lake Centennial Memorial Day event. Gather at the Lakeside Pavilion starting at 8 am for coffee & donuts. The program will begin at the beach at 9am & conclude at the pavilion. Program highlights include: renewing the tradition of the memorial wreath drop at 9am; Anderson-Sather American Legion Post #524’s Color Guard will conduct a Memorial Day Ceremony; following the beach ceremony, John Zenkovich (the Langlade County Veteran’s Service Officer) will speak & songs will be performed by the White Lake Community Centennial Choir. Memorial Day Parade May 30th Meet at 8am on the Hudson Street Bridge for Service of Remembrance for the American Service-People who died at sea. Floats & walking units will meet at 9am. at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation located at 729 Park Street, Antigo. Monday Night Ladies Bike Ride May 30th 5:30-7:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, 112 East 5th Avenue, Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! Please meet in the hospital parking lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. There will be up to 3 groups with a 10-12 mile route & a 20-25 mile route. Tuesday Morning “Geezer” Rides May 31st 10am-Noon Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont Street, Antigo. Meet at the parking lot behind the Antigo Public Library and Dixie at 10 am. Healthy Living With Diabetes May 31st 5-7:30pm Calvary Lutheran Church, 310 South Superior St., Antigo. This program is designed to help adults with Type II diabetes or pre-diabetes learn skills and increase their confidence in managing their diabetes. Healthy Living with Diabetes does not replace existing treatments, but rather complements the treatments a participant receives. Suggested Contribution is $10. Enrollment is limited. Tuesday Night Running Club May 31st 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15 for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. Healthy Ways Spring Walk June 1st Register 3-5:30pm at the Lake Park Shelter. 3-6pm Springbrook Trail Boardwalk, Second Ave., Antigo. Our annual walk for all ages to encourage the use of the walkway for daily exercise. Walk the entire trail, or parts of the trail while stopping at a variety of booth pods (vendors available until 6pm) learning about exercise, activity & ways to stay healthy. Wednesday Evening Bike Rides June 1st 5:15-7pm Langlade County Safety Building, 840 Clermont Street, Antigo. We will continue to meet at the court house parking lot at 5:15 pm. Elcho Music on the Green June 1st 5:30-8pm Jack Lamar Pavilion, N11283 Dorr Street, Elcho. The Elcho High School Band will be performing. Sandwiches, pies & ice cream will be available from the Elcho School Activities Boosters. All Elcho Music on the Green performances will be performed on the grass in front of the pavilion, rain or shine! 1st Annual .01K for Relay June 3rd 2016 Race Times: 7:30pm & 10:30pm at Rick’s 45 Roadhouse, N4290 Hwy. 45, Antigo. Yes it really is only 32.8 feet!!! It is a fundraiser for Relay for Life. Race Day registration & pre-party including food, starts at 5:30pm. The run, walk, saunter, amble, mosey, meander & ramble will be at 7:30pm & 10:30pm. The post party, including food & entertainment, starts at 7:31pm. $15 per person or $60 for group/family of 5. Registration form must be completed before participating in the event. Team participation & creativity is strongly encouraged! This race benefits the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Langlade County.

Triple R Riding Club’s Annual Spring Trail Ride June 4th & 5th Crocker Hills Horse Trail System, Elton. (15 miles E of Antigo on Hwy. 64 to Cty. P & Fraley Rd. intersection. Turn N on Fraley Rd., go 2 miles & camping area is on the left. Watch for signs.) All trails are marked & mapped. Chicken dinner served by the Crocker Kid 4-H Club. Water will be available for the horses. Weekend camping available for $10 & $5 per horse. All profits go to improving the 2 trail systems that we sponsor. Cars for a Cause Car Show June 4th 9:30 am-10pm Langlade County Fairgrounds, 1633 Neva Road, Antigo. Come join us in honor of the 2016 junior prom attendees & Antigo Police at Cars for a Cause Car Show. ALL proceeds and donations from this event will be going to the prom victims, Antigo High School, and local law enforcement and emergency services. From there the proceeds will be dispersed in part to charities that are deemed fit for the cause such as StompOutBullying and Anti-Bully Coalition. Food, beverages, and music will be supplied. A Ride to Remember June 4th 10am-2pm Peaceful Valley Park, 420 Field Street, Antigo. It is a free community fun/family friendly event to get out and be a little active. We will feature 3 different length routes 6, 12, and 21 miles. The event is non-competitive, each person sets their own pace. We are encouraging all skill levels to join. The local police department will be speaking on bike safety and have a few bikes to giveaway. Booths from Splash n Dash, The Wolfman Triathlon and Antigo Bike and Ski club will be featured at the event. Aspirus Langlade hospital will have fruit and water for participants.
