Aniwa
4th of July Activities – Monday, July 4th – Food & beverages starting at 5pm, DJ at 5pm and fireworks at dusk at Central Park.
Antigo
4th of July Festivities – Parade Monday, July 4th 7pm. Line-up on Edison St. at Antigo Middle School between 5:30-6:30pm. Parade Route: Starting on 7th Avenue at the Middle School south on 10th Ave., west to Antigo High School. Everyone is welcome is welcome to participate in this family-fun event. Fireworks at dusk (around 9:15pm) at Antigo High School (10th Ave. & Western).
Birnamwood
Independence Day Activities – Sunday, July 3rd Food & music start at 5pm. Fireworks at dusk at the ballpark downtown, Main Street, Birnamwood.
Crandon
Crandon Fire Department 4th of July Celebration –Saturday, July 2nd Parade at Noon on Lake Ave., beginning at the nursing home. Auction to follow the parade along with 50/50 raffles, food and beverages at Palmer Park, 601 W. Washington. Fireworks at dusk.
Lake Metonga Association Annual Picnic – Sunday, July 3rd Boat parade at 1pm. The cookout will begin at 2pm at the Beachside Bar & Grill, Lake Metonga, Crandon. The menu will include brats, hot dogs, hamburgers & homemade beans along with a beverage. The cost is only a $5 wristband. Also back by popular demand is the Karcz family’s famous crawfish/corn boil, while supplies last. There will also be games and raffles. The band “Tomorrow’s Eve” begins at 5:30pm and fireworks are at dusk.
Elcho
Elcho UCC Church Men’s Club 19th Annual Chicken BBQ – Saturday, July 2nd 11am-4pm The Jack Lamar Memorial/Elcho Community Pavilion, N11283 Dorr Street, Elcho. “Nineteenth Annual Chicken BBQ” mashed potatoes & gravy, baked beans, salad bar, dessert, & coffee! Elcho Fire & Rescue Street Dance – Saturday, July 2nd Noon-Midnight, Sno-Devil’s Park, Riordan St., Elcho. Raffles, food and games all day! Softball tournament starts at 3 pm. Elcho Fireworks – Saturday, July 2nd at dusk over the Elcho football field. Come to Elcho to see the amazing fireworks display to celebrate our nation’s birthday.
Gresham
Gresham 4th of July Festivities – Saturday, July 2nd 11am-10pm Veterans Park, Main Street, Gresham. Parade 11 am, Family Fun Fest from noon to dusk at Veterans Park on Main Street. Bike raffle, cake walk, petting zoo, bounce house, games, water play area, dance performances, food vendors, craft and sale vendors, 50/50 raffle and fireworks at dusk.
Laona
Independence Day Activities – Sunday, July 3rd Noon Laona. The parade starts at noon with food and fun to follow at Silver Lake Beach and fireworks will be at dusk on the Laona Ball Field. The first Fireworks show will be put on by Fire Up Smoke Shop and the second show will be put on by the Laona Fire Department.
Merrill
4th of July Fireworks in Merrill – Monday, July 4th Dusk MARC Smith Center, 1100 MARC Dr., Merrill. Sit back and relax and watch the fireworks out at the MARC at dusk. Food vendors on site. Come out early and have a picnic with the family.
Pelican Lake
4th of July Boat Parade – Sunday, July 3rd 1:45pm North Side of Crescent Island. We will again start with the Outlet Bay shoreline and cross the lake to Treacherous Bay following the shoreline east to town and then west back to Crescent Island.
Phlox
Phlox 43rd Annual Semi-Fast Pitch Softball Tournament – Saturday, July 2rd Norwood Memorial Park, Phlox. Fireworks on Saturday at dusk. Food & refreshments available.
Pickerel
Pickerel Perry Fest – Sunday, July 3rd 2-11pm Northwoods Inn, Cty. Rd. A & Hwy. 55, Pickerel. A family fun event for all ages. Live music with headliner Jason McNabb & the Reign. Advance wristbands $12, at the gate $15 for adults, kids 12 & under $5. Tickets available at Wagner Shell in Antigo and Northwoods Inn, Pickerel. Band Whiskey Nights from 4-7pm and fireworks presented by Perry Productions. (Rain date July 4th)
Post Lake
Post Lake Boat Parade – Saturday, July 2nd 1pm. The Post Lake boat parade starts at 1pm at Fischer’s Resort parading around upper Post Lake.
Post Lake Improvement Association 11th Annual Fun Fest – Saturday, July 2nd 4-11pm, P.L.I.A. Community Center, Corner of Cty. Rd. K & Post Lake Drive, Post Lake. Rhinelander
4th of July Parade and Fireworks – Monday, July 4th Downtown Rhinelander. Come & enjoy this annual tradition as Rhinelander celebrates the 4th of July. See the floats, hear the music & connect with friends! The theme of 2016’s parade is “America: The Proud & The Beautiful” in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. Businesses, organizations & others are invited to enter floats and vehicles into the parade for just a $5 donation to the Leathernecks of the North. Fireworks will take place at dusk over Boom Lake & Hodag Park.

Monico Fire Department Independence Day Celebration – Sunday, July 3rd 4pm Downtown, Monico. Join Monico Fire Department in celebrating Independence Day on July 3rd! We will have food including burgers, brats, and homemade fries along with beer and soda starting at 4pm. There will also be fireworks starting as dusk.
Townsend
Townsend Centennial 4th of July Celebration – Monday, July 4th 10am Townsend Fire Garage, 17937 Front St., Townsend. The Townsend Festival Association will host crafters at the Townsend Fire Garage starting at 10am to 4pm. There will also be raffles, food, & beverages served. The 4th of July Parade starts at noon. Lots of fun & games for the kids at the ball field & great food & drinks at the ball park concession stand (which opens) at 5pm. White Lake
White Lake Country Possum Chase – Saturday, July 2nd 7:30am Come to White Lake & enjoy either a 1-mile or 10K course. It is being held in conjunction with the White Lake’s Centennial Celebration. This event includes awards, door prizes, & a free piece of pie to the first 20 finishers.
