TORC: The Off-Road Championship presented by AMSOIL heads to the legendary Crandon International Raceway this weekend for Big House Brawl, Rounds 5 and 6 of the 2016 national championship.

The doubleheader weekend features pro racing in three classes: the powerful, four-wheel drive PRO 4WD trucks, the 900 horsepower rear-wheel drive PRO 2WD machines, and the fiercely competitive Atturo Tire PRO Lights. The TORC Series races are part of the 23rd annual Forest County Potawatomi Community Brush Run event, which also features Crandon Sportsman Off-Road Series running 10 unique classes of unique short-course machinery.

At the top of the standings in the TORC Series after four races this season are Johnny Greaves in PRO 4WD, Crandon local Keegan Kincaid in PRO 2WD, and Kyle Hart in Atturo Tire PRO Light. Greaves hails from nearby Abrams, Wisconsin, while hart is from Kelly, Louisiana.

In addition to three days of TORC PRO and Crandon Sportsman competition, the Forest County Potawatomi Community Brush Run event weekend features camping and concerts. Thousands of fans are expected to load into the facility, which includes 2,500 groomed grass campsites. Wisconsin’s own Zac Matthews Band plays Saturday night in a concert that is free to fans camping on-site.

“2016 will be the best race season in our history, and it all starts with the upcoming Forest County Brush Run weekend,” said Crandon President Cliff Flannery. “Our schedule is packed from Friday afternoon through Sunday, and we know our fans will have a great time.”

This weekend’s event is the first of two major TORC Series stops at Crandon International Raceway this year: the stars of the series return to the legendary venue in the heart of Wisconsin’s scenic Northwoods for the season-ender in September.

Crandon International opens its gates to the public all three days beginning at 8:00am. Weekend admission is $45 for adults, and free for children 12 and under and seniors 75 and older. One-day admission is $25 for adults and free for children under 12 and seniors 75 or older. Saturday night-only admission to enjoy the Zac Matthews Band concert is $10.
