7th Annual Boys & Girls Club Sizzlin Summer Camp June 6th-August 19th Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County, 411 Superior St., Antigo. This eleven week youth development camp will keep your kids busy and having fun all summer. Every week, members can go on fun and exciting field trips. We provide age-appropriate programs in the arts, sports, fitness & recreation, character & leadership development, education & career development, and health & life skills. Camp fee includes your child’s annual membership, breakfast, lunch & afternoon snacks daily, weekly field trips, a camp t-shirt & sling bag, and youth professionals. Monday Night Ladies Bike Ride June 13th 5:30-7:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, 112 East 5th Avenue, Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! Please meet in the hospital parking lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. There will be up to 3 groups with a 10-12 mile route & a 20-25 mile route. Tuesday Morning “Geezer” Rides June 14th 10am-Noon Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont Street, Antigo. Meet at the parking lot behind the Antigo Public Library and Dixie at 10 am. Arbor Day Celebration June 14th 10:30-11:30am Mendlik Park, 1439 Clermont St., Antigo. Come plant some trees & celebrate Arbor Day with the City of Antigo & special forestry guests. We will provide some shovels and rakes, but you may bring your own to help. Please dress in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Tuesday Night Running Club June 14th 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. Traveling Lantern – Vladimir Goes For The Gold! June 15th 2-3pm Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont Street, Antigo. The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company presents Vladimir Goes For the Gold, an interactive theatre experience for kids and families. Young athlete Vladimir Cashewninski travels back to explore the first Olympic Games in this play that brings young audience members into the action. Props & Pistons Fly-In, Car Show & Radar Run June 18th 8am-4pm Eagle River Union Airport, 1311 Airport Rd., Eagle River. Enjoy a full day of events surrounding a classic fly-in (8am-4pm) & car show (8-11am). Nicolet Plastics Walk/Run June 18th 9am Nicolet Plastics – Maiden Lake Warehouse, 15618 Maiden Lake Rd., Mountain. Forest County Historical Society 2nd Annual Vintage Tea Party June 18th 1pm Forest County Museum, 105 W. Jackson St., Crandon.
