7th Annual Boys & Girls Club Sizzlin Summer Camp June 6th-August 19th Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County, 411 Superior St., Antigo. This eleven week youth development camp will keep your kids busy and having fun all summer. Every week, members can go on fun and exciting field trips. We provide age-appropriate programs in the arts, sports, fitness & recreation, character & leadership development, education & career development, and health & life skills. Camp fee includes your child’s annual membership, breakfast, lunch & afternoon snacks daily, weekly field trips, a camp t-shirt & sling bag, and youth professionals. Monday Night Ladies Bike Ride June 20th 5:30-7:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, 112 East 5th Avenue, Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! Please meet in the hospital parking lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. There will be up to 3 groups with a 10-12 mile route & a 20-25 mile route. Tuesday Night Running Club June 21st 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. White Lake Music in the Park June 21st 5:30pm – 8:00pm White Lake Depot, Lake Street, White Lake. The Reason Why! will be playing at the Depot platform. Pizza, pies & custard will be available from Historical Society members. The rain site will be at the Lake Pavilion.
Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour to benefit Red River Riders June 21st 6-8:30pm The Crawford Center, 255 S. Waukechon St., Shawano. There will be 30 min Q&A with Mark Murphy, and then they will be signing autographs. Players attending are Jared Abbrederis, Sam Barrington and Jayrone Elliott, and Packers alumni LeRoy Butler, Robert Brooks and Sean Jones. There will be music, bounce house, 50/50 raffle and more! Tickets to the event are $30 for meal, 2 drinks, a souvenir and one autograph from each of the players attending. $5 general admission tickets available (does not include meal, souvenir item or autographs.) Tickets on sale at Charlie’s, Idell Johnston State Farm office, Bubba’s BBQ, WTCH and All About Animals. There will also be an NFL Punt, Pass and Kick qualifying event being held there. Immunization Clinic June 22nd 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Department, 1225 Langlade Road, Antigo. Immunization clinic is available to provide childhood immunizations & adult vaccinations. The vaccinations are FREE to children 2 months – 18 years of age if you have Medical Assistance or no insurance. Adult vaccinations are available some with a minimal fee or FREE if you have MC or MA. Remarkable Reptiles June 22nd 10-11am Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont Street, Antigo. Reptile expert Jim Gerholdt will be at the Antigo Public Library to introduce kids and families to the amazing world of reptiles. The audience will get to see reptile artifacts such as shells and shed skins as well as come face to face with live turtles, lizards, and snakes–including a boa constrictor you can touch!
