7th Annual Boys & Girls Club Sizzlin Summer Camp June 6th-August 19th Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County, 411 Superior St., Antigo. This eleven week youth development camp will keep your kids busy and having fun all summer. Every week, members can go on fun and exciting field trips. We provide age-appropriate programs in the arts, sports, fitness & recreation, character & leadership development, education & career development, and health & life skills. Camp fee includes your child’s annual membership, breakfast, lunch & afternoon snacks daily, weekly field trips, a camp t-shirt & sling bag, and youth professionals. Senior Center Trip to Kovac Planetarium June 27th 12:30-4:30pm Langlade County Senior Center, 1225 Langlade Rd., Antigo. We will be taking a field trip to the Kovac Planetarium in the Monico area. We will be taking a bus to make this a relaxing day for participants. The trip is limited to the first 20 people, at a cost of $25 which includes the bus trip & admission fee. Monday Night Ladies Bike Ride June 27th 5:30-7:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, 112 East 5th Avenue, Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! Please meet in the hospital parking lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. There will be up to 3 groups with a 10-12 mile route & a 20-25 mile route. Tuesday Night Running Club June 28th 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. White Lake Country Possum Chase July 2nd 7:30am Come to White Lake & enjoy either a 1-mile or 10K course. It is being held in conjunction with the White Lake’s Centennial Celebration. 7th Annual Run for the Paws 5K Run/Walk July 2nd 8am Forest County Courthouse, Crandon. Awards will be given to the TOP male & female finishers in each age group.
