7th Annual Boys & Girls Club Sizzlin Summer Camp June 6th-August 19th Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County, 411 Superior St., Antigo. This eleven week youth development camp will keep your kids busy and having fun all summer. Every week, members can go on fun and exciting field trips. We provide age-appropriate programs in the arts, sports, fitness & recreation, character & leadership development, education & career development, and health & life skills. Camp fee includes your child’s annual membership, breakfast, lunch & afternoon snacks daily, weekly field trips, a camp t-shirt & sling bag, and youth professionals. Tomahawk’s Annual Pow Wow Days July 4th 8:30am Veterans Memorial Park, Tomahawk. Tomahawk’s annual Pow Wow Days 5k/10k runs will start at 8:30am. The fun run will follow at approximately 9am. 4th of July Parade and Fireworks July 4th Downtown Rhinelander. Come & enjoy this annual tradition as Rhinelander celebrates the 4th of July. See the floats, hear the music & connect with friends! The theme of 2016’s parade is “America: The Proud & The Beautiful” in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. Businesses, organizations & others are invited to enter floats and vehicles into the parade for just a $5 donation to the Leathernecks of the North. Fireworks will take place at dusk over Boom Lake & Hodag Park.

City of Antigo Fireworks Display July 4th Dusk Antigo High School, 1900 Tenth Avenue, Antigo. After you have enjoyed the Fourth of July parade, get ready to enjoy the fireworks! Parking is along Western Avenue, Sunset Drive, & Tenth Avenue. There is also parking available in the high school parking lots. You can tune in to WATK 900 AM to hear patriotic music to accompany the festivities.

Tuesday Night Running Club July 5th 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. Spirits of the Lake Golf Out & Spirit Sampling Event July 8th 8am Bass Lake Country Club, W10650 Bass Lake Road, Deerbrook. A four-person golf scramble and spirit sampling. The 9-hole event starts at 8am, $75 per person. The 18-hole event starts at Noon, $125 per person. The evening event starts at 5pm. $35 in advance, $40 at the door if available. Spirit sampling, Great Gatsby buffet, souvenir tasting glass, live music provided by Hip Pocket, raffles and a silent auction. Splash-N-Dash to Benefit the Antigo Penguins Swim Club July 9th 8:30am Veterans Memorial Park/Jack Lake, N8375 Park Dr., Deerbrook. The Antigo area Splash-n-Dash race is to help support the Antigo Penguins Club and Antigo High School varsity swim team while promoting health, wellness and tourism in the Antigo community! Racers can choose either the long course: 1/2 mile swim and 5k run or the short course: 1/4 mile swim and 5k run. Age of swim racers is at least 12 years of age. Racers can choose to race solo or tandem (male, female, mixed) Tandem team: 1 racer swims/1 racer runs. Community Day Camp at Camp Susan July 11th 9am-4pm Camp Susan 4-H Camp, 8890 County Rd B, Deerbrook. Summer camp is an excellent opportunity for youth to make new friends, get re-acquainted with old friends, continue learning over the summer and have fun!
