The Antigo Dugout Club White team strung together two more wins this past week to take them to 6-0 on the year in the Langlade County Junior “A” League.

Monday, June 27

The ADC White ball club rolled over Pelican Lake 20-4 in five innings behind a complete game performance from pitcher Cole Musolff.

Musolff picked up the CG having given up five hits to the Pelican Lake batters while also striking out four.

Leading the White team at the plate was Nevin Cornelius and his 3 for 4 evening that included two doubles. Brett Witman also tacked on the extra base hits, going 2 for 3 with a triple and double. Logan Thomae finished 1-3 a double as well.

Stats for the Pelican Lake team were not provided.

Wednesday, June 22

The ADC White team picked up its fifth win of the year with big-time offensive production, leading to a 20-8 rout of Laona-Wabeno.

Alex Fritsch hit for the cycle on his 4 for 4 monster evening, scoring five runs once all was said and done. Musolff was also perfect in the batter’s box, going 3 for 3 on three base hits with a trio of runs scored.

Cornelius and Dakota Matuszewski each went 2-4 while Logan Thomae was 2 for 3 on the night.

Musolff and Witman split equal time on the mound, each lasting three innings, in which they combined to allow four hits while striking out seven total batters.

Once again, stats were unavailable for the opposing Laona-Wabeno team.
