Monday Night Ladies Bike Ride July 18th 5:30-7:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, 112 East 5th Avenue, Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! Please meet in the hospital parking lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. There will be up to 3 groups with a 10-12 mile route & a 20-25 mile route. Annual Hodag MASH Blood Drive July 19th 8am-5pm at Pioneer Park, Rhinelander. All presenting donors will receive a free MASH 2016 t-shirt, complimentary lunch & frozen treats. Plus, Community Blood Center’s local Be The Match representative will be on site from 11am–2pm to answer questions & sign donors up to be a part of the world’s largest bone marrow registry. They will also be selling raffle tickets for a 2016 Camaro, which will be parked on site. All presenting donors will also be eligible to enter CBC’s “All Aboard” summer contest with the chance to win a boat cruise for up to 8 people on the Milwaukee River Cruise Line: Edelweiss! The prize package will also include VIP limo service to and from Milwaukee & a beverage voucher. This event is open to the public. Walk-ins are accepted, however, appointments are appreciated. Kids from Wisconsin July 19th Two shows: 2pm & 7pm Volm Theater – Antigo High School, 1900 10th Ave., Antigo. The Kids from Wisconsin features students from all over the state in a music & dance performance. Tickets sell quickly so make sure to purchase yours early. Tuesday Night Running Club July 19th 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. Pulaski Polka Days July 21st-24th Thur. 7-11pm; Fri. 3pm-1am; Sat. 12:30pm-1am; Sun. 1-7:30pm. Polka Grounds, Pulaski. Saturday is the Polka Trot. 8:30am 5K Run/Walk or 9:30am the 1/4 mile Kids Run. On Saturday & Sunday is the craft fair, located on Pulaski Street. With over a 100 vendors, a variety of hand-crafted items such as: jewelry, quilts, t-shirts, souvenirs & more, you’ll be sure to find something. A dance contest is held. A Pancake & Porkie Breakfast takes place on Sunday at the Pulaski Polka Grounds. 8-11am. One of the largest attractions of Polka Days is our Pulaski Polka Days parade. The parade begins at the Pulaski Community Middle School & the Pulaski High School & travels down St. Augustine Street & Pulaski Street, right down to the Polka Grounds. The Big House Legionnaire Mudd Challenge July 23rd Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, 10104 US Highway 8 W, Crandon. A 5K & 10K mudd challenge that will feature 15 obstacles.
