Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. Tomahawk National Antique & Classic Outboard Motor and Boat Show August 3rd-6th 8am SARA Park, Tomahawk. This event is a show, swap meet & sale. Milk Jug Regatta August 6th 2pm Slo’s Pub, 10599 Big Arbor Vitae Dr., Woodruff. Held in conjunction with the Fireman’s Picnic. Creative boats are constructed of 1/2 or 1 gallon milk jugs! The milk jugs must be the primary floatation for the boat, but unlimited use of rope, twine, string, glue, nails, staples, screws, wire, electrical and/or duct tape is allowed. Racers will compete in 3 categories – solo, tandem & showboat. There is no limit to the number of people on the boat within the showboat category, but only 1 paddle or oar per person is allowed. Boats will participate in the “Parade of Boats” starting at 2pm at Fireman’s Park & end up at the Arbor Vitae Campground which will be the starting point of the Milk Jug Regatta.
