Marion Roselind Hintze, 88
Marion R. Hintze, 88, Wittenberg, formerly of Woodruff and Milwaukee, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
She was born on October 6, 1927 in Wausau, the daughter of the late Walter and Roselind (Viergutz) Heinrich.
On August 23, 1947, Marion was united in marriage to Charles William Hintze in Wausau. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2016.
Marion worked as the Head Floral Designer at Steins Garden Center in Milwaukee for over 12 years. She enjoyed painting pictures, cooking and making jewelry. Marion also enjoyed floral arranging and helping to decorate many churches and community events. She was devoted to her husband and family and she loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra (Gary) Hanke, Wittenberg; one daughter-in-law, Linda Hintze, Cudahy; four grandchildren, Roselind Hanke, Wittenberg, Marie (Scott) Emerson, South Milwaukee, Michael Hintze, Cudahy and Laura (Justin Stickles) Cudahy; one great-granddaughter, Katie Emerson, South Milwaukee and two sisters, JoAnn Day, Schofield and Barbara Smith, Madison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by two sons, David Hintze and Paul Hintze; one grandson, David Hintze II and two brothers, Roger Heinrich and Mike Heinrich.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Monday, July 18, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. Rev. Michael Larson will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 noon until the time of services at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements.
