TORC: The Off-Road Championship wrapped up an exciting Crandon event this weekend at the famed Crandon International Off-Road Raceway. Under new ownership this year, the TORC Series is excited to continue its relationship with the Crandon facility, said Dave Swanwick, chief operating officer of Mountain Sports International.

“It has been an incredible experience to see first-hand the enthusiasm this community shares for off-road racing,” he said.

“We’re proud to continue the tradition by bringing our national championship series to Crandon International Off-Road Raceway twice this year.”

In addition to providing a great fan experience, off-road racing provides an economic benefit to its host communities. The Forest County Chamber of Commerce has assessed the direct economic impact of the two weekends featuring the TORC Series at Crandon at over $8 million.

“The TORC Series strives to bring a great show to each of its venues, with the best racers competing for the national TORC Series title, as well as supporting Sportsman classes,” said Swanwick. “Our economic impact can make a real difference to local markets like Crandon and we value the relationships that make it happen.”

The new series owners are marketing and broadcast agency Mountain Sports International, Inc., a Salt Lake City-based company that brings nearly 20 years of experience, innovation, storytelling, and project management to the series.

MSI Live is producing television and high-definition digital programming for both major motorsport weekends at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway this year.

MSI Live is a leader in digital forward production and delivery for clients including Sony, Netflix, Universal Music Group, Red Bull Media House and Street League Skateboarding.
