Margaret “Marge” Toth, 86
Marge was born on May 4, 1930 to the late Harold and Rebecca (Garrett) Newman, descendants of original European settlers of Ellison Bay area of Door County, Wisconsin.
Marge was a graduate of Wausau High School.
She was united in marriage to William Toth, Sr. on June 9, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church in Town of Easton, Marathon County.
As homemaker, Marge was devoted to her family, enjoyed raising a garden, canning, crocheting, knitting and carrying on traditional baking of her heritage.
She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, crossword puzzles, scrabble, spending time with grandchildren, her crocheting circle and exercising with her friends at Curves.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Karen Toth of Antigo, Patsy Toth of Iola, 4 sons, William (Laurie) Toth of Antigo, Jerry (Rosemary) Toth of Town of Hewitt, Roger (Vicki) Toth of Deerbrook, Michael Toth of Columbus, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Delores Woolever of Elkhorn, Anna Jean McKinney of Arkansas, her longtime friend and companion, Roger Juedes of Brokaw and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marge was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Eileen Newman and Marilyn Woolever, 3 brothers, Walter, John and Joey Newman, and 2 great grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Town of Easton.
Reverend Ryan Fehrmann will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Saturday at church from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM.
Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
