36th Annual Tater Trot held this Saturday

The 36th annual Antigo Tater Trot will take place this Saturday, August 13, 2016 at City Park in Antigo.
All proceeds from the race registrations sales benefit Antigo High School cross country and track teams and other community organizations. Following a successful event in 2015 with over 380 participants, the directors Tater Trot presented checks totaling $3200 to area organizations involved in track and field events within the community. Recipients included the Antigo Park, Recreation & Cemetery Department; All Saints Catholic School; Peace Lutheran School; and the Unified School District of Antigo.
Those interested in participating in any of this year’s races can register online at www.antigotatertrot.com. The cost for the 10k and 4 mile events is $20 until Wednesday, August 10, 2016, which includes a 5 pound bag of potatoes and long sleeve tee shirt. Late registration is $25. Shirts and potatoes will be given to late registrants based on availability. One mile participants will pay $5 registration, with the option to purchase a shirt for an additional $10.
