AVAIL, Good News Project hosting electronic recycling
Electronic Recycling Event
The Good News Project e-cycling presents an electronic recycling event held at the Langlade County Fairgrounds Multi-Purpose Building on Fri. Aug. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sat. Aug. 27 from 9 a.m. until noon. Proceeds will go to benefit AVAIL of Antigo and the Good News Project of Wausau.
Accepted items include:
- Computers, laptops, and monitors
- Mice and keyboards
- Printers and scanners
- Fax machines and copiers
- Any size or type of television
- Microwaves
- Phones and cell phones
- Just about any electronic device with a cord
Items that are NOT accepted are:
- Liquids, paints, and chemicals
- Large appliances
- Batteries or fluorescent bulbs
- Newspaper, cardboard, or cans
We make it easy and safe. Drive up/drop off conveniently located at the Multi-Purpose Building of the Langlade County Fairgrounds in Antigo, Data security is guaranteed. There is a 40¢ charge per lb. for recycling your old electronics. All recycling customers at this event will be offered a $25 Arlen’s voucher. This can be used towards any television purchase over $500.
