Carol “Suz” Fronek, of Antigo, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 62 years old. She was born on March 23, 1954 in Antigo, a daughter of the late John “Ozzie” and Carol (Gallenberg) Falk. She married James Fronek on August 3, 1974 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo.

She graduated from Antigo High School in 1972. Suz was employed various places over the years but always took pride in raising her family.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends especially her granddaughters. She enjoyed reading, crafting, going to the casino and cooking. She also loved camping and being outdoors.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James; a daughter, Heidi (Brad) Wunderlich of Neenah; three sons, Joseph Fronek of Frederick, CO, Scott Fronek (girlfriend Melissa Rodriguez) of Charlotte, NC and Tony (Jessie) Fronek of Oshkosh; two granddaughters, Kennadie and Kinley Fronek; three brothers, John (Sandy) Falk Jr., David Falk and Tom (Laurie) Falk all of Antigo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Falk.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 4:30 p.m. wake service and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home.

A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the cancer center and to Melissa Rodriguez for the wonderful care they provided to our wife and mother.
