Monday Night Ladies Bike Ride August 29th 5:30-7:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, 112 East 5th Avenue, Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! Please meet in the hospital parking lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. There will be up to 3 groups with a 10-12 mile route & a 20-25 mile route. Tuesday Night Running Club August 30th 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. World Championship Off-Road Races September 2nd-4th Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, Highway 8 W, Crandon. Premier off-road racing at its best and most thrilling. More than 40,000 fans gather to cheer for their favorite drivers as they race on the longest & the fastest short course racetrack in the nation, with speeds reaching over 100 miles per hour. See it all from the grandstand or the hillside seating. When not watching the races visitors can check out the newly developed off-road recreation park or the 300 miles of ATV/UTV trails that are accessible from the Crandon Raceway. Kids, both young & old, will love the Traxxas Radio Control race track offering radio control car rentals. 10th Annual Red Arrow Corn Roast & ATV/UTV Parade September 3rd 11am Old Town Hall, 17767 Hwy 32, Townsend. Red Arrow will host its 10th Annual “Corn Roast and ATV Parade from the Clubhouse to the Old Town Hall in Townsend on Hwy 32. The ATV/UTV parade will form at 10am at the Red Arrow Clubhouse on Hummingbird Lane, north of Townsend. Open to the public, the event will run from 11AM well into the evening. Meat raffles, D.J. music, food, and free sweet corn will be available all day until 6PM. At 6 the music and raffles continue till closing.
