Delos Delano Rustick, 70

Delos D. Rustick, 70, Summit Lake, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born on April 9, 1946 in Wausau, the son of the late Alphonse and Emma (Wienke) Rustick.
Delos was a U.S. Army Veteran.
In 1977, Delos was united in marriage to Anne Robinson. They later divorced.
Delos was raised on a dairy farm. He worked a number of construction jobs, drove truck, logged and owned and operated a siding business in Nebraska. His favorite job was sod farming in Nebraska. Delos volunteered for Shoot for a Cure, which is a fundraiser for a cure for childhood cancer. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, wood-crafting and listening to polka music.
Survivors include one son, Adam Rustick, Antigo; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Cory Rustick; one daughter-in-law, Karen Marten, Mattoon and special friends, Lori and Bruce Beilke, Mattoon. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Delos was preceded in death by one son, Roy Rustick; three brothers, Theodore, Gayland and Al and one sister, Darlene.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9am until the time of services at the funeral home. Military Rites will be conducted by the Darling-Gunderson American Legion Post #341 following the service.
