John “Jack” Listle, 82

John “Jack” Listle, of White Lake, died Thursday, July 28, 2016, on his 60th wedding anniversary, at home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 82 years old. He was born on November 26, 1933 in Laona, a son of Charles and Beatrice (Trottier) Listle. He married Sandra Pomasl on July 28, 1956 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She survives.

He was a graduate of White Lake High School with the class of 1951.

Faith and family were the priorities of Jack’s life.

He moved to Milwaukee in 1951 where he worked for Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery for 38 years. From 1956 to 1958 he served in the United States Army having been stationed in Germany during the Berlin crisis.

He retired from Pabst in 1990 and returned to White Lake where he served as sexton for St. James Catholic Cemetery and St. Joseph Cemetery in Elton. Jack was a volunteer for the White Lake Food Pantry, and served on the White Lake Rescue Squad as an EMT.

Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.

He was a member of St. James and Stanislaus Parish and the Anderson-Sather American Legion Post #524, White Lake.

Survivors including his wife are four daughters, Patricia (Mark) Kamin of Watertown, Mary (David) Krueger of Helenville, Susan Listle of Mayville, Barbara (William) Gerfin of Hartford; five sons, Carl (Angie) Listle of Milwaukee, Kevin Listle (Denise Emerich) of White Lake, Steven Listle of Watertown, Daniel (Pamela) Listle of Melrose, Joseph (Lisa) Listle of Black River Falls; 25 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Ann) Listle of Antigo; special friend, Julie Pomasl of White Lake; a sister-in-law, Marlene Listle of Spirit; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren Matthew Ramer, and John Paul Listle, two Great-Grandchildren Madalyn Krueger and Matthew Hammond; a sister, Donnetta (William) Martin; three brothers, Robert, Francis and Charles (Mickey) Listle and a sister in law, Carol Listle.

Private family memorial services will be held at St. James Catholic Church in White Lake.

A public celebration of Jack’s life will be held over Labor Day weekend. Please look for announcements of day and time in a later edition .
