Lynn Louise Olive, age 68, of Post Lake died Wednesday, August 24 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.

Lynn was born on August 27, 1947 to the late Roy and Jane (Easson) Elsmo in Racine, WI.
On October 4, 1969 she was united in marriage to Robert Olive at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Racine.

Lynn was a graduate of Lutheran High School and went on to earn an associate degree in Marketing, Transportation and Distribution from Gateway Technical College.

As an ambitious business person, Lynn began working for Bartz Cartage from 1966-1972. She was also employed at Zahn’s Department Store from 1969-1974. Along with her grandmother she owned and operated Arlo Associates. Lynn later became owner and vice-president of Raemarc, Inc. from 1974-1999.

She resided in Racine until 1977 and then moved to Waterford until 2002. Upon retirement, Robert and Lynn moved to Post Lake and enjoyed winters in Port Isabelle, TX.

Lynn was active in Racine Kenosha Women’s Traffic Club, Delta Nu Alpha, National Management Association, Parish Highlands ATV Club, Wolf River ATV Club, and American Legion Post 4998 Auxiliary. She was an avid basket weaver, did beading, and crafted jewelry. Lynn and Bob enjoyed boating on Lake Michigan, fishing, traveling.

Survivors in addition to her husband Robert include, a brother Marc (JoAnne) Elsmo, 2 sisters, Joan (Tom) Herman, Deborah (Brian) DelCampo all of Racine, 2 brothers-in-law, James (Diane) Olive of East Troy, 3 sisters-in-law, Kathryn HohnHorst and Betty Boetcher both of Racine, Mary (Walter) Henning of Rochester, WI, her niece Elizabeth (Ben) Thomas, her nephew, David(Andrea) Elsmo, her great niece Josie Thomas and in the Olive family she is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

Her extended family includes Judy Winsall, Bekki and Gene Baas, Linda and Lonnie Keckhaver, Bill and Nancy Moll, Teri and Jon Stonner, Keith and Kris Blanchard, and Kathy Raduenz
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law and father-in- law, sister-in-law Charlene Boetcher and a brother-in-law John Boetcher.

A gathering in memory of Lynn and to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 10 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Elcho Clubhouse. A memorial service will take place at 1:30 at the Elcho Clubhouse with a time of celebration to follow. Reverend Dana Schindler will officiate.
Memorials in Lynn’s name may be directed to The American Heart Asssociation and St. Luke’s Medical Center Tribute Fund.
